Setup

Three steps or fewer.

STEP 01

Add the credential

n8n → Credentials → New → OpenAI API. Set the base URL and paste your AIgateway key.

Base URL:  https://api.aigateway.sh/v1
API key:   sk-aig-...

STEP 02

Use in any node

Set the model field to any provider/slug from the AIgateway catalog (e.g. anthropic/claude-opus-4.7).
