Cline (formerly Claude Dev) is a VS Code coding agent. Add AIgateway as an OpenAI-compatible provider and you can swap models per task without re-installing anything.

Setup

Three steps or fewer.

STEP 01

Add the provider

In Cline's settings panel, choose API Provider → OpenAI Compatible. Set base URL to https://api.aigateway.sh/v1, paste your AIgateway key, and use any model slug as the Model ID.

STEP 02

Tag the spend

Add an x-aig-tag header (e.g. cline-feature-x) so per-feature cost shows up in your AIgateway dashboard.
